
Jackson County Central’s section boys basketball tournament game was postponed Tuesday night, but Martin County West played its game.
The Huskies’ game in the Section 3AA South Sub-Section semifinals was postponed and rescheduled for Thursday.
Top-seeded JCC, 22-4, and fourth-seeded Fairmont (17-9) will still play in Windom, but the order of the games has been reversed, so the Huskies and Cardinals are now listed for an 8 p.m. tip off.
Fairmont’s girls basketball team is playing in the Section 3AA championship game at 5 p.m. in Marshall.
Second-seeded Luverne (18-7) and third-seeded Redwood Valley (18-9) will play at 6 p.m. Thursday in Windom. The winners will play at 8 p.m. Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University.
The 3AA North Sub-Section did play its games on Tuesday at Willmar High School.
Top-seeded Montevideo was an 87-49 winner over fourth-seeded Minnewaska Area and second-seeded Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta beat third-seeded Paynesville Area 89-54. The Thunderhawks and Tigers will play at 6 p.m. Saturday at SMSU.
In Section 2A, second-seeded BOLD pulled away from 15th-seeded Martin County West in the second half to win 65-46. The Warriors had led 21-20 at halftime.
MCW finishes its season 10-18.
