Brenan Runge threw three touchdown passes and Jackson County Central had four rushing touchdowns as the Huskies improved to 3-0 with a 49-6 win over Blue Earth Area at Swearingen Field Saturday night.
Runge threw a 23-yard TD pass to Ben Dahlin, a 59-yarder to Bryson Powers and a 44-yarder to Roman Voss.
Voss also had a four-yard rushing TD, Seth Stai scored on a 47-yard run, Clay Malchow scored from seven yards out and Gage Johnson had a 49-yard scoring run.
Jack Sadusky kicked five extra points and ran for a two-point conversion after a high snap.
JCC is at LeSueur-Henderson (0-3) on Friday.
The Jackson County Central volleyball team finished fourth at the Carolyn Hummel Invitational.
In pool play, the Huskies defeated Red Rock Central 2-0 and Martin County West 2-0. In the Gold Bracket, Windom was a 2-0 winner over JCC and the Huskies lost to Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 2-1.
MCW was fourth in the Silver Bracket. The Mavericks lost to JCC 2-0 and won 2-0 over Red Rock Central in pool play.
In the Silver Bracket, Martin County West to to New Ulm 2-1 and Austin 2-0.
Class 3A fourth-ranked Kasson-Mantorville won the championship match 2-0 over Windom.
Jackson County Central has a Big South Conference West Division match at Windom Tuesday. Martin County West hosts Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman in a Valley Conference match the same night.
