Sherburn native Carsen Musser, a goalie for the Madison Capitols, has been named to the third team on the all-United States Hockey League team.
Musser played in 32 games for Madison and had a 17-11-2-2 record.
He was second in save percentage among qualified goaltenders in the league with a .905 average and had a 2.74 goals against average to rank fourth in that category.
Musser is the first Capitols netminder to make an all-USHL team since 2019-20 season.
Madison finished fifth in the eight-team Eastern Conference of the USHL and lost in the first round of the playoffs to fourth-seeded Youngstown.
Musser is a Colorado College commit. He was drafted by Utah in the sixth round (166th overall) in the 2023 NHL Draft.
