As this is written Sunday morning rain is falling in Jackson and there’s a possibility of thunderstorms popping up again this afternoon so there could be some changes, but there are seven games scheduled for teams in the First Nite and Gopher leagues on the final weekend in June.
Jackson is scheduled to play one of those games as the Bulls are slated to host Heron Lake in a seven-inning game at about 5 p.m. at Wacker Field. The Lakers also have a 2 p.m. game scheduled on their home field vs. Worthington.
Jackson is 7-6 overall, 6-4 in league play. Heron Lake is 1-10 and 1-8.
The Bulls won the first game between the teams in Heron Lake on May 11.
Lakefield is also scheduled to be at home Sunday, hosting Windom in a 2 p.m. game at Stan King Field. The Pirates are also scheduled to host Fox Lake at 6 p.m.
The Frogs are 2-7 both overall and in league play, while Windom is 11-1 overall, 9-1 in league play.
The JCC post prom committee will serve walking tacos for $5 during the game in Lakefield.
Jackson and Lakefield are both scheduled to play again on Wednesday with the Bulls heading to Truman to face Fox Lake and the Frogs hosting Heron Lake.
