CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Brandon Williamson pitched six innings for a second straight outing Tuesday for the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A Southern League affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
The Martin County West graduate allowed three runs on eight hits, walking three and striking out four.
Chattanooga was tied 3-3 with the Mississippi Braves when Williamson left the game. Mississippi would win 5-3.
For the season, Williamson has a 2-1 record, pitching 28 and one-third innings, giving up 16 runs on 28 hits, walking 18 and striking out 31. His strikeout total is the ninth highest in the Southern League.
