Jackson County Central offensive tackle Weston Rowe has received another offer from an NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision school.
Dartmouth College, located in Hanover, N.H., is the latest to make an offer to the 6-foot-7, 270-pound junior. It’s his second FCS offer. He has also received an offer from the University of South Dakota and he made a Junior Day visit to Vermillion last weekend.
Two Football Bowl Subdivision schools have also offered Rowe, the United States Air Force Academy and the United States Military Academy (Army West Point). He also was offered by traditional NCAA Division II power Minnesota State University.
Rowe is the 18th-ranked player in the state for the Class of 2026. He is listed as the No. 2 uncommitted offensive lineman in that class by prepredzone.com.
Dartmouth is a member of the Ivy League. Sammy McCorkle has been the head coach for two seasons.
The Big Green were 8-2 overall in 2024. Dartmouth was 5-2 in conference play, putting it in a three-way tie for the title with Harvard and Columbia.
Ivy League schools have not been allowed to compete in the 24-team FCS playoffs in the past, but league’s presidents announced in November that will allow the league’s teams to compete starting with the 2025 season.
