Carsen Musser was in goal for the U.S. National Under-18 hockey team in a 6-2 win over Michigan Tech Saturday at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.
Musser, from Sherburn, made 16 saves for Team USA, now 8-0 on the season. Musser has been in goal for four of those wins.
In 240 minutes and 49 seconds in goal in five games he has a goals against average of 2.24 and save percentage of .902.
The eight straight wins is the longest ever win streak for a U18 team to begin a season in NTDP history.
The U18s are in Minnesota for two games next weekend, playing at St. Thomas at the St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights Friday and Bethel at Bethel Arena at the National Sports Center in Blaine Saturday.
