JCC softball looks to start new streak at BEA

Through games played on Monday, there are 11 undefeated Class 2A softball teams in the state and 10 more have one loss.

Jackson County Central is among those teams with one loss as the Huskies are 7-1 heading into a 5:30 p.m. game at Blue Earth Area Tuesday. JCC is at home on Thursday for a 4 p.m. doubleheader vs. Pipestone.

The Buccaneers are 0-11 and have only scored 15 runs in those games. JCC won 13-1 in five innings when the teams played in Jackson on April 10.

Pipestone is 4-4. The Arrows have a game at Luverne scheduled for Tuesday.
