
Two Big South Conference teams are listed in the latest rankings by the Minnesota Baseball Coaches Association.
Fairmont, 6-1, is tied for 10th in the Class 2A poll. The lone loss for the Cardinals is to No. 4 Esko.
Marshall (7-1) is fifth in the Class 3A ratings. The Tigers’ loss was to unranked New Ulm (5-2).
Only one top-ranked team is the same as in the last poll, Cherry (5-1) in Class 1A.
Other leaders are Duluth Marshall (3-0) in Class 2A, Mankato West (6-0) in Class 3A and Mounds View (4-1) in Class 4A.
