Jackson County Central's baseball team is 1-1 to start the season.
The Huskies went on the road to claim a 4-3 win at Windom's Island Park Friday and then dropped a 22-10 contest in six innings at home at Wacker Field Saturday.
Gavin Jacobsen was the winning pitcher at Windom, going five innings and striking out 10. Levi Lindley pitched the final two innings.
Logan Butzon and Damien Phaly had doubles for JCC.
At home Saturday, the Huskies had an 8-5 lead after three innings, with the Buccaners scoring four in the fourth, seven in the fifth and six in the sixth.
Leighton Polz had two hits for the Huskies. Both were in the second inning including a three-run double.
Trace Michelson hit a solo home run in the sixth and also walked twice and was hit by a pitch.

Mason Pohlman had two hits. Payton Handevidt and Levi Lindley each had a hit and were hit by a pitch.
Jackson County Central is scheduled to host Redwood Valley at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
