Jackson County Central boys basketball coach Alex Hein presented another Alumni Impact Award prior to the Huskies game vs. Belle Plaine on Friday.
This one went to Ryan Christopher, a 2017 graduate. Hein mentioned in his comments that members of this season’s team remember Ryan as a member of two state tournament teams during his playing days.
Christopher is JCC’s all-time leader in steals, is second in assists and seventh in blocks and games played.
After playing college baseball at Concordia University in St. Paul, Christopher coached in the JCC program for one season.
He’s the Baseball Operations Assistant and Clubhouse Manager for the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association and is coaching basketball at the Sanford Sports Academy in Sioux Falls.
