JCC moves up to 5th in Class 2A boys poll
Jackson County Central has moved up a spot to fifth in the latest Class 2A boys basketball rankings by Minnesota Basketball News, a statewide basketball publication.
The Huskies are 2-0 and have road games at Blue Earth Area Thursday and Tri-City United Friday.
Three of the Top 10 teams in the Class 2A boys poll are from the Big South Conference as Waseca (5-0) is fourth and Bell Plaine (2-1) 10th. Albany remains first.
Two other leaders are the same in the boys ratings, Cherry (1A) and Cretin-Derham Hall (4A). Orono moved from fourth to first in Class 1A.
In the girls ratings, Marshall (6-0) is again second in Class 3A.
All of the leaders remain the same for the girls, Goodhue (1A), Providence Academy (2A), Benilde-St. Margaret’s (3A) and Hopkins (4A).
