JCC remains 4th in Class 2A boys poll
Jackson County Central is again fourth in the latest Class 2A boys basketball rankings by Minnesota Basketball News, a statewide basketball publication. The Huskies are 8-0 heading into a game Friday at Belle Plaine.
The three teams ahead of the Huskies remain the same, with Albany (8-0) first, Caledonia (7-1) second and Waseca (10-0) of the Big South Conference third.
In fact, all four leaders are the same in the boys ratings, Cherry (11-0) in Class 1A, Benilde-St. Margaret’s (6-0) in Class 3A and Cretin-Derham Hall (8-0) in Class 4A.
In the girls ratings, Marshall (11-0) remains first in Class 3A, with St. Peter (7-1) new to the ratings at No. 10.
Two other girls leaders are the same, Goodhue (7-3) is again first in Class 1A and Providence Academy (11-0) in Class 2A. Eden Prairie (10-1) moves into the top spot in Class 4A.
