
Jackson County Central remains fourth and Waseca second in the latest Class 2A boys basketball rankings by Minnesota Basketball News, a statewide basketball publication. The Bluejays held off the Huskies 75-71 when the teams met on Saturday in Jackson.
The Bluejays also defeated Windom 97-73 on Tuesday in Waseca and have a 23-0 record. The Huskies were 75-62 winners at Luverne Tuesday and are now 20-3.
Albany (19-0) remains first in the 2A poll and Caledonia (21-2) is sandwiched between Waseca and JCC in the third spot in the ratings.
Other boys leaders that remain the same in addition to Albany in 2A are Cherry (21-0) in Class 1A and Cretin-Derham Hall (18-1) in Class 4A.
All four girls are the same.
Goodhue (20-4) leads Class 1A, Providence Academy (22-0) is on top in Class 2A, Monticello (22-0) is the 3A leader and Maple Grove (21-2) sits atop Class 4A.
Marshall (22-1) remains third in the 3A girls poll.
