The Jackson County Central girls golf team was third in the team standings on its home course and the boys were fifth at Pipestone in a Big South Conference Gold Division event Monday.
Blue Earth Area won the girls competition at Jackson Golf Club with a 395 total, followed by Fairmont (425) and the Huskies (437).
Rachel Mohr led JCC as she was sixth out of 33 golfers with a 93. BEA’s Katelyn Storbeck was medalist with an 81.
BEA also won the boys meet at Pipestone Country Club with a 313. Jackson County Central and Windom tied for fifth with 354.
Tavin Miller led the Huskies as he tied for fourth with an 80. Three golfers tied for first at 76.
Both JCC teams will host Pipestone and Worthington in a triangular on Thursday.
