Jackson County Central’s girls were fourth and the boys sixth at the first Big South Conference Gold Division event of the season Monday. The girls played at Windom Country Club and the boys played at Adrian Country Club.
Blue Earth Area won the girls event with a 192 total, with Fairmont second with 201.
BEA’s Katelyn Storbeck was low individual with a 41. Rachel Mohr led JCC with a 54.
For the boys, Blue Earth Area won a tiebreaker from Windom after both shot a 162.
Will Bergman of Luverne was low individual with a 38. Tavin Miller paced the Huskies with a 42.
In the Black Division, Marshall was first for the girls at Montgomery and St. Peter won the boys event on its home course.
The next division event will be Monday, May 5 with the Gold Division girls playing in Jackson and the boys in Pipestone. Black Division events will be in Waseca and New Ulm.
