
Tavin Miller, a junior at Jackson County Central High School, has earned a spot on the all-Big South Conference boys golf team.
Miller tied for 14th out of 84 golfers with an 85 Tuesday at Dacotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton. That, combined with his performance during regular season meets, earned him the award.
The Huskies tied for seventh as a team with a 357 total. St. Peter was first with 312.
Medalist honors went to Ethan Moreau of St. Peter with a 74.
Jackson County Central will host an 18-hole tournament on two nine-hole courses on Friday, playing one round at Jackson Golf and one at Valley Brook Golf Course in Lakefield.
