Jackson County Central’s golf teams competed in their respective Big South Conference division events at separate sites on Thursday.
The girls were fifth at Minn-Iowa Golf Course in Elmore. Host Blue Earth Area was first with a 191 total. JCC had a 241.
Rachel Mohr’s 52 led the Huskies as she placed eighth out of 32 golfers. Katelyn Storbeck of Blue Earth Area was medalist with a 38.
Windom had a 163 total to win the boys event at Redwood Falls Golf Course.
Tavin Miller paced JCC with a 41 to tie for seventh of 41 golfers. BEA’s Cole Becker was medalist with a 37.
The Huskies will be at different sites again Friday for the 18-hole Fairmont Invitational. The girls will play at Rose Lake Golf Course and the boys will play at Interlaken.
