Jackson County Central is sixth in the final Class 2A boys basketball rankings by Minnesota Basketball News, a statewide basketball publication.
The Huskies finished the regular season with a 22-4 record. They’re scheduled to play Fairmont at 8 p.m. Thursday in Windom in the Section 3AA South Sub-Section tournament.
The top 10 remain exactly the same in the 2A poll.
Albany (25-0) is first, with Waseca (26-0) second and Caledonia (24-2) third. Montevideo (21-4) of Section 3AA is 10th.
All four leaders are the same.
Other top-ranked teams in addition to Albany in 2A are Cherry (25-1) in Class 1A, Mankato East (25-1) in Class 3A and Cretin-Derham Hall (25-1) in Class 4A.
