Jackson County Central had three athletes compete and Martin County one in the girls portion of the Big South Conference individual wrestling tournament Friday in Jackson.
JCC’s Izzy Moonen won the 118-pound title as she won her match by a 16-1 technical fall.
Aubrey Carnesi was second at 106 pounds, losing by fall and winning an 8-4 decision.
Also for the Huskies, Cameron Peterson was fourth at 136 pounds.
Martin County’s Kate Kolbe was first at 142 pounds as she won all three of matches by fall in less than one minute, winning in 56, 20 and 27 seconds.
Jackson County Central and Martin County will both compete in the Section 3 tournament Saturday, Feb. 10 in Redwood Falls.
