Jackson County Central was first and Martin County fourth in the team standings at the Big South Conference wrestling tournament Saturday in Pipestone.
The Huskies won the tournament for the second straight year, this time with 250.5 points. St. Peter (179) was second, Marshall (151) third and the Red Bulls (125) fourth.
The top three place winners at each weight earned all-conference honors and Jackson County Central had 10 wrestlers accomplish that. JCC grabbed half of the individual titles as the had seven champions and two other wrestlers made the finals.
Senior Logan Butzon earned all-BSC honors for the fifth time as he won the 145-pound title.
Four Huskies won their weight class and are all-conference for the third time, junior Nolan Ambrose (132); senior Thomas Freking (138); senior Dylan Withers (170); and senior Caleb Vancura (220).
Ambrose picked up his 100th career pin on his way to the title.
Cameron Scholten (285) earned all-BSC honors for the second time as he placed second.
Capturing all-conference honors for the first time from JCC were seventh-grader Kayden Eller, first at 106 pounds; freshman Isaac Rodriguez, second at 120; sophomore Benjamin Dahlin, third at 126; and senior Isaiah Rodriguez, first at 152.
Martin County had five all-conference wrestlers that included one champion as senior Carver Rohman won the 160-pound crown to earn all-BSC laurels for the third time.
Two Red Bulls were second as senior Max Olson (220) is all-conference for the fourth time and eighth-grader Maddex Faber (113) is all-conference for the second time.
Also, senior Aden Welcome (145) place third and all-conference for the third time; and junior Taylor Austin (152) to garner his first all-conference selection.
Martin County travels to St. Peter for a key Big South Conference East Division dual vs. the Saints and also will wrestle Mound-Westonka.
Both teams will wrestle Friday.
The Huskies will host the Night of Champions, hosting both St. Michael-Albertville and Simley; while the Red Bulls will be at the Plum Creek Duals in Tracy.
