Jackson County Central and Martin County West’s track and field teams are scheduled to compete in the Buc Invitational Friday at Wilson Field in Blue Earth. Field events are at 4:15 p.m., with track events at 4:45.
The meet will use true team scoring where every entrant is scored rather than the traditional method.
There will also be a couple of events that are not usually contested, the 4x100 shuttle hurdle relay and the sprint medley relay.
Scheduled to compete other than the Huskies, Mavericks and host Buccaneers are Fairmont, Maple River, St. James Area and United South Central.
It will be JCC’s second outdoor meet, having competed at the Cardinal Relays in Luverne Tuesday. The Huskies were second in the girls team standing and fifth in the boys.
The Huskies had four first-place finishes in the girls meet.
