BLUE EARTH – Host Blue Earth Area rallied for an 8-7 win over Jackson County Central in Big South Conference Small School Division baseball Tuesday.
The Buccaneers tied the game with a five-run sixth inning and then scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
Logan Butzon and Trace Michelson had two hits apiece for JCC.
Bryson Powers had two runs batted in, while Lucas Vesey and Damien Phaly both scored twice.
Michelson started on the mound and went first five and two-thirds innings. Cameron Scholten finished the game.
BEA is 4-4 overall, 3-4 in conference play, while JCC is 1-3 and 3-5.
Jackson County Central will host Pipestone in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Thursday at Wacker Field.
