It was a tough day on the road for Jackson Sunday, as the Bulls lost a pair of amateur baseball games, losing 3-2 at Ruthton and 12-3 at Pipestone.
Evan Olesen hit a two-run home run to account for the scoring in the opener vs. the Royals. Andy Wolf had been hit by a pitch before Olesen's round-tripper.
Easton Bahr doubled and Zach Neal singled for Jackson's other hits.
Lucas Gardner was the starting pitcher and took the loss. Sean Minder also pitched for the Bulls.
Minder was the starter and the first of six Jackson pitchers at Pipestone and took the loss.
Bahr had two hits including a double. Also getting hits in that game for the Bulls were Briar Rowley, Shad Wacker, Chris Gumto, Nate Monson and Alex Bretzman.
Jackson hosts Heron Lake at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wacker Field.
