
Jackson split a pair of amateur baseball games Sunday at Redbird Field in Luverne, beating Heron Lake 10-0 in six innings and falling 4-1 to the Redbirds.
Carter Snyder had two hits including a double and walked once vs. Heron Lake and then had two more doubles and drove in Jackson’s lone run vs. Luverne.
Also in the opening game, Blake Evans had two hits and Andy Wolf was on base five times as he had one hit and walked four times.
Jackson used three pitchers in the Heron Lake game, Will Larson, Andrew Boyum and Trace Michelson. Evan Olesen took the loss vs. Luverne.
The Bulls, 9-3, host Fox Lake Wednesday and Lakefield Friday and then close the regular-season schedule at Worthington next Sunday.
