Jackson County Central graduate Easton Bahr and Fairmont grad Tyler Tennyson have finished their careers with the Buena Vista University baseball team.
The Beavers finished second in their pod at the American Rivers Conference tournament in Cedar Rapids.
BVU was seeded fifth and opened the tourney with a 6-5 win over No. 4 seed Dubuque.
That put them against the number one seed Coe and Buena Vista would win 2-0 over the Kohawks.
Tennyson threw his third straight complete-game shutout as he allowed only six hits, struck out six and walked only one.
All the scoring in the game came on a two-run single by Bahr in the fifth inning. He also walked and had a sacrifice.
However, Coe won an elimination game over Dubuque and then beat Buena Vista twice in the championship round to win the pod.
Buena Vista finishes the season with a 21-23 record.
