Two area graduates started their college wresting postseason Friday and two more will start Saturday.
The NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Regional started Friday in Stevens Point, Wis. with Jackson County Central graduate Kie Anderson competing at 125 pounds and Martin County West grad Blake Jagodzinske wrestling at 157.
Anderson went 2-1 Friday, with both of his wins coming by fall. He’s now 8-4 on the season after joining the Cobbers’ lineup in January and will wrestle Jake Hamulak of the University of Chicago (8-5) in the consolation bracket Saturday morning.
Jagodzinske went 2-0 on Friday to put his season mark at 15-5. He’s in the semifinals at 157, where he meets Drew Vlasnik of Chicago (23-9).
Augsburg leads the team standings with 126 points, with Wisconsin-La Crosse second with 118. Concordia is seventh with 64 points.
The national tournament is March 15-16 in La Crosse.

Division II Super Regional
Two more Martin County West grads will wrestle for Augustana at the NCAA Division II Super Regional Saturday in Minot.
Jaxson Rohman (17-3) will wrestle at 125 pounds for the Vikings. Rohman, who was second in the national tournament last season, is ranked second.
Connor Simmonds (12-3) is rated seventh at 157.
That is a one-day tournament. The national tournament is March 15-16 in Wichita, Kan.
