Emma Haren, who will be a senior with the Jackson County Central volleyball team this fall, has announced her decision on where she will play college volleyball.
The versatile 5-foot-11 OH-MB-RH announced on Instagram that she will attend Morningside University and play for the Mustangs.
Haren was a Class AA all-state selection last year when she compiled 390 kills, 16 blocks, 273 digs, 54 ace serves and 12 set assists.
She also earned all-Big South Conference West Division honors last year and was an honorable mention all-BSC performer in 2021. Haren has also received recognition in this year’s Minnesota High School Breakdown Yearbook.
Morningside was 11-20 overall last season including 4-11 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Six of the GPAC’s 12 teams qualified for the NAIA Championships including national champion Jamestown University.
