Sadie Hotzler in three events at NJHFR
Sadie Hotzler of Jackson will compete in three events at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo that starts on Sunday in Des Moines. She is the daughter of Terry and Shelly Hotzler.
She will compete in two go-rounds in each event.
Sadie competes in Barrel Racing on Sunday evening and Saturday morning; Breakaway on Monday morning and Friday evening; and Pole Bending Tuesday night and Thursday morning.
Hotzler also competed in all three events at last year’s national event in Georgia.
She was state champion in Barrel Racing and Pole Bending at the state rodeo in Fergus Falls last month. Sadie was also fourth in Breakaway.
Approximately 1,200 contestants from 43 states, five Canadian provinces, Australia and Mexico participate in the national event.
