Jaxson Rohman is seeded fourth at 125 pounds for the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships March 15-16 at Hartman Arena in Park City, Kan.
The Martin County West graduate is a junior at Augustana University.
Rohman has a record of 19-4 with three wins by fall, five by technical fall and eight by major decision. He placed second at last weekend’s NCAA Division II Super Region V tournament in Minot.
It’s Rohman’s third trip to the national tournament, each at 125.
He went 3-1 at last year’s event to place second. In his first appearance at the national tournament in 2022, Rohman won his first match before losing his next two.
On the preliminary bracket for the national tourney, Rohman is matched with Jacob Tangpricha of Central Missouri (9-4) in his first match. The brackets do not become official until Tuesday.
The top three seeded wrestlers at 125 are James Joplin of Lander (27-0), Shane Corrigan of Wisconsin-Parkside (28-2) and Christian Mejia of McKendree (27-4).
