JCC softball wins Hotzler Invite

The Jackson County Central softball team was dominant in winning three games to take the title at the Shelly Hotzler Invite softball tournament Saturday.
JCC defeated Albert Lea 12-1 in five innings, Chatfield 15-0 in three innings and Pipestone 10-2.
The Huskies had 38 hits in three games with 17 going for extra bases, 13 doubles, two triples and two home runs.
Bailey Finck was 8-for-10 with five doubles and one triple.
In the circle, four Jackson County Central pitchers gave up only six hits and recorded 32 strikeouts.
