Carsen Musser was in goal Friday as the U.S. National Under-18 hockey team earned a dominating 6-1 win over the Wisconsin Badgers at Kohl Center in Madison.
The Sherburn native stopped 35 of the 36 shots he saw in picking the win.
It was the third straight win for the U18s, who have a 27-8 record.
For the season, Musser has played in 17 games and has a 10-4 record. He’s played 867 minutes and 30 seconds and has a save percentage of .898 and his goals-against average has dipped back below 3.0 at 2.97.
Next for the NTDP is a pair of road games, playing at the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League on Saturday, Jan. 20 and at NCAA Division III third-ranked Adrian College on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
