NEW ULM – Four players scored in double figures as the Jackson County Central boys basketball team wrapped up its regular season schedule with a 77-75 win at Class 3A 17th-ranked New Ulm Thursday. The Eagles led 39-38 at halftime.
Roman Voss had a double double for the Huskies with 26 points including four three-point baskets and 10 rebounds. He was 11-for-16 from the field including 4-6 from three-point range. Voss also recorded four assists.
Travis Rogotzke scored 17 points including one trey.
Kaden Cother netted 16 points as he was 5-5 from the field (all three-pointers) and added a free throw. Damien Phaly posted 14 points and seven assists.
Colton Benson led New Ulm, now 17-6, in scoring with 24 points that included four threes.
JCC ends the regular season with an 11-15 record. The Huskies open play in the Section 3AA South Sub-Section tournament by hosting Montevideo on Saturday, March 5.
