In his last start Friday vs. Milwaukee, the Martin County West graduate had a quality start as he went 6.2 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits, walking two and striking out six. He threw 90 pitches, 59 for strikes.
Williamson does not have a decision yet, but the Reds have won three of his first four starts.
The lefthander has an earned run average of 4.29 and opponents are hitting .215 against him. In 21 innings he has allowed 12 runs (10 earned) on 17 hits, walked 11 and struck out 18.
Noah Syndergaard (1-4, 6.54) starts for the Dodgers tonight.
Cincinnati and Los Angeles wrap up their series Thursday. The Reds then go on a nine-game road trip, playing three games apiece in St. Louis, Kansas City and Houston.
