Huskies down Warriors in regular season finale

Jackson County Central closed out its regular season wrestling schedule with a 41-18 win over Fulda/Murray County Central Thursday on Senior Night and Parent’s Night for the Huskies.

JCC won eight matches and picked up bonus points in each of its wins.

Winning by fall were Isaac Rodriguez (127) and Ben Dahlin (152). Ever Munoz Mazarielos (121) won by forfeit.

Recording tech falls were Mathias Liepold (107), Dallas Gossen (139) and Cael Entriken (160). Winners by major decision were Kayden Eller (114) and Kyler Thier (133).

Jackson County Central has a 13-2 record and will be the No. 1 seed for the Section 3A team tournament that starts Thursday. More on that in a future newsletter.
