Tom Evans edged Dustin Pohlman by one stroke to win his first Jackson Golf Club men's club championship Sunday.
Evans shot a 77 Saturday and 80 Sunday for a 36-hole total of 157. Pohlman was the first-round leader with a 75 and carded an 83 on Sunday to finish at 158.
Evans got up and down on the final hole, making a four-foot putt to win after Pohlman had put the pressure on as he birdied No. 8 and made par from the trees on No. 9.
