Paxton Gravlin pitched a complete game and Kaiden Musser had four hits as Fox Lake was a 13-5 winner over Heron Lake in a First Nite League amateur baseball game Saturday in Truman.
Gravlin went the full nine innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits, walked three and struck out 13. Musser’s four hits included two doubles, and he also stole three bases.
Blake Buntjer had three hits, Dalton Keltgon had two hits including a double and Carter Brudilie also had two hits for the Foxes.
Cesar Otero had two hits for the Lakers.
Fox Lake is 1-5 in league play, while Heron Lake is 1-6.
The Foxes are at Lakefield for a 7:30 p.m. game Friday.
