Sadie Hotzler of Jackson had a good run in Barrel Racing Tuesday at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia.
Hotzler had a time of 16.675 seconds to sit in 72nd place out of 156 entries. The top time was 15.479 seconds by Merrick Moyer of Woodward, Okla.
Sadie is competing in three events at the NJHFR.
She had a time of 25.824 seconds in Pole Bending on Monday for 71st place out of 95 entries. The top time in poles is 20.011 by Kinley Follman of Towner, N.D.
Hotzler took a no time in Girls Breakaway on Monday. Fastest is Braydee Bourdet Hollister, Calif., in 2.15 seconds.
Sadie had Wednesday off from competition. She’ll compete in Barrels again on Thursday morning, Pole Bending Friday evening and Breakaway Saturday morning.
