Sadie Hotzler shares state Pole Bending title

Sadie Hotzler of Jackson is sharing the Pole Bending title for the Minnesota High School Rodeo Association season.

She was one of two Jackson entries who concluded their seasons at the State Finals in Hugo this past weekend as she was joined by Josie Dvorak.

Here’s how the two fared at the state event:

Sadie Hotzler

• Barrel Racing: 4^th

• Breakaway Roping: 9^th

• Goat Tying: 14^th

• Pole Bending: 3^rd

Josie Dvorak

• Barrel Racing: 28^th

• Breakaway Roping: 35^th

• Pole Bending: 12^th

In the season standings, Hotzler shared the Pole Bending title with Madison Fisher of Cass Lake.

Hotzler will compete in pole bending at the National High School Finals Rodeo at Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, Wyo. July 13-19.

Sadie also finished in the top 10 in barrels and breakaway in the state standings and her horse, Q the Lights, was Co-Horse of the Year.
