Seven games in 48 hours over three days await the Jackson County Central softball team at the end of the week. The Huskies play Big South Conference Small School Division doubleheaders Thursday and Friday and then host a four-team round-robin tournament on Saturday.
On Thursday JCC travels to Redwood Falls to play a pair vs. Redwood Valley starting at 4 p.m.
The Huskies are 3-8 overall on the season, 2-6 in conference play.
The Cardinals are 3-4 and 2-4 with a nonconference game vs. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Tuesday and the Eagles are 6-6 and 4-4 with a doubleheader at Luverne Tuesday.
As far as the teams coming in for the tournament on Saturday, Murray County Central’s record is listed as 3-2, New York Mills 7-1 and Worthington is 0-11.
Jackson County Central is scheduled to play its final seven regular-season games at home. After the five games this week, the Huskies host Fairmont on May 16 and Pine Island on May 19.
