
Jackson County Central’s baseball team will play Redwood Valley in a Big South Conference doubleheader Friday at Memorial Park in Redwood Falls. The first game starts at 4 p.m.
The Huskies and Cardinals were set to play single games on back-to-back days, but Thursday’s game at Wacker Field in Jackson was postponed and rescheduled as part of a Friday twin bill.
JCC is 1-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play after a 13-4 home loss to Fairmont Tuesday.
Jace Jorgensen had three hits including a double and had an RBI for the Huskies.
Talan Holm had two hits and walked once, Kash Gilbert had a hit, walked and was hit by a pitch, Ben Gallagher was hit by a pitch twice, and Thomas Liepold walked and was hit by a pitch.

Joe Long had three hits including a double for Fairmont.
Carson Doescher took the pitching loss for the Huskies, going 5.1 innings. Haiden Warmka, Ryan Fricke and Gilbert also pitched.
Mason Bicknase went five shutout innings to earn the win for the Cardinals. Brayden Williamson pitched the sixth inning and Vincent Schultz the seventh for Fairmont, now 5-1 and 4-0.
Redwood Valley is 0-5 and 0-3.
