WINDOM – New Ulm scored two goals in each period in beating Windom Area 6-1 in Big South Conference boys hockey Monday at Windom Arena.
Ethan Purrington scored Windom Area’s goal in the first period with Cragen Porah credited with an assist.
Braxten Hoffmann had five points for New Ulm on two goals and three assists while Austin Uecker had four points on one goal and three assists.
Dan Stubbe made 28 saves for Windom Area, which had 23 shots on goal.
New Ulm is 13-5 on the season, while Windom Area is 10-9-1. Windom hosts Marshall Thursday.
