Jackson’s Junior American Legion baseball defeated Springfield 12-5 Thursday at Wacker Field.
Talan Holm pitched seven innings, allowing five runs (four earned) and struck out nine. He also had three hits at the plate.
Jace Jorgenson had two hits, while Levi Thompson, Ryan Fricke and Kash Gilbert each had one. Mason Helmers scored three times.
Jackson will host Fairmont at 11 a.m. Saturday and Wabasso at 6 p.m. Monday.
