Botello-Ramos improves section leading 200 time
Natalia Botello-Ramos remains the leader in two events on the Section 2A Track and Field Honor Roll. That’s according to results posted on athletic.net.
The Jackson County Central junior improved her section-leading time in the 200 meters at the Big South Conference Small School Division meet Thursday in Luverne, posting a time of 26.37 seconds.
Loyola/Cleveland freshman Charlotte Meyer took over the top spot in two events with her performances at the Section 2A true team meet in Janesville on Tuesday.
Meyer added the 800 meters (2:24.43) and 1600 meters (5:13.51) to her collection as she previously had the best time in the 3200 meters (10:53.60).
There aren’t any new leaders for the boys, although Levi Freyberg of Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial/Nicollet now shares the top spot in the pole vault (14-7).
