
Jackson County Central is scheduled to host a 12-team cross country meet Thursday as the Huskies host the Tri for Health/KKOJ Invitational at Jackson Golf Club.
There are four races:
Middle School girls (2500 meters): 4:30 p.m.
Middle School boys (2500 meters): 4:45 p.m.
Varsity girls (5000 meters): 5 p.m.
Varsity boys (5000 meters): 5:30 p.m.

Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin

The lone ranked entries are in the girls meet.
St. Peter is rated third in this week’s Class 2A ratings, and the Saints have two ranked runners as Keira Friedrich is ranked first and Lucia Penner 12th.
Last year’s meet was canceled.
Luverne won the girls team title in the 2023 meet and Windom was the boys champion.
After Thursday, JCC’s next meet will be Tuesday in Slayton, while MCWBO runs on Sept. 25 in Janesville.
