Gabe Wolff ran for two touchdowns including a school-record 96-yard jaunt and Jackson County Central’s defense recorded its second shutout of the season as the Huskies were 35-0 winners over Redwood Valley Saturday afternoon at Swearingen Field.
Wolff had a total of 217 yards rushing on 20 carries. His other TD came from three yards out.
Roman Voss threw two touchdown passes to Bryson Powers, coming on plays of 24 and 36 yards.
JCC’s other TD came on a 39-yard interception return by Seth Stai. Alvaro Gonzalez Garcia was 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts.
The Huskies had 430 yards offense, 310 rushing and 120 passing. The Cardinals had 96 yards, 19 on the ground and 76 in the air.
Jackson County Central is now 5-0. The Huskies are at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial on Friday.
