JACKSON – The Jackson County Central basketball teams split with Luverne in Big South Conference West Division play Friday.
JCC won the boys game 55-42 after the Cardinals had won the girls contest 57-49.
In the boys game, JCC led 27-18 at halftime.
Two Huskies scored in double figures, with Roman Voss netting 15 points and Erik Hesebeck 13.
Voss also had four rebounds and four assists.
Travis Rogotzke also had four rebounds. Damien Phaly and Caleb Thurmer had three assists apiece.
Connor Overgaard led Luverne in scoring with 11 points.
The Huskies are 10-14 overall on the season and finish their conference schedule with a 5-7 record. The Cardinals are 9-12 and 2-9.
JCC has two road games to close out its regular season schedule, playing at Blue Earth Area Saturday and New Ulm Thursday.
Luverne led the girls game 23-20 at the half.
Maci Farmer scored 17 points and Rylie Cother had 14 for Jackson County Central.
The Cardinals finish conference play tied for second place with a 9-3 record. Luverne is 20-4 overall.
The Huskies close their conference schedule 5-7 and are 16-10 overall.
JCC opens the Section 3AA South Sub-Section tournament by hosting St. James Area on Saturday, Feb. 26.
