Important stretch
Bulls have series of tough games ahead
A scheduled stretch of four tough games in five days is ahead for the Jackson Bulls Friday through Tuesday.
First on the docket is a meeting of league leaders at 7:30 p.m. game Friday when the Bulls will be in Luverne to face the Redbirds.
Jackson leads the First Nite League by percentage points over Fairmont. The Bulls have a 5-1 record, while the Martins are 8-2.
Luverne is the Gopher League leader with a 7-1 record.
On Sunday, Jackson has a pair of seven-inning games at Wacker Field, hosting Hadley at 3 p.m. and Windom at 5:30.
It’s the second meeting with Windom this season. The Pirates won the first game 8-1 at Island Park on June 9.
That will be followed by a road game at Fairmont on Tuesday as the Bulls face the Martins for the second time this season. Jackson won the first game 5-4 in 12 innings on May 29.
