Indoor meet
Track & field teams compete in Mankato
The Jackson County Central track and field teams participated in the Wolverine Indoor Meet hosted by Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey Saturday at Myers Field House at Minnesota State University in Mankato.
JCC was third in the girls team standings and the boys were fourth.
The Huskies had two first-place finishes in the girls meet.
Natalia Botello-Ramos won the 55 meters in 7.49 seconds and Naiya Ayers won the 1600 meters (6:11.76).
The top finish for JCC in the boys meet was a second-place finish by James Atura in the 55-meter hurdles (8.55).
Jackson County Central is scheduled to compete at a meet in Mountain Lake on Thursday.
