The 45th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals powered by FENDT will run Thursday-Sunday at Jackson Motorplex.
The event features the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and attracts many of the top sprint car racers from around the country. The event pays $25,000 to win Saturday night’s finale.
The Outlaws will be joined by the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series for the Thursday and Friday shows and the Upper Midwest Renegades Sprint Car Series on Saturday. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. each night.
There are also a number of other events taking place in Jackson starting on Wednesday with the annual Security Bank Jackson Days Golf Tournament kicking at 11:30 a.m. at Jackson Golf Club.
The hauler parade starts in downtown Jackson will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and concludes at Jackson Motorplex, where the Fan Fest event featuring the “Fat City All Stars” starts at 7 p.m.
The Jackson Days block party runs from 4-7 p.m. in downtown Jackson on Thursday. The Lions club will host a pancake feed from 8-11 a.m. both Friday and Saturday at Jackson Motorplex.
On Saturday, the Jackson Motorplex Hall of Fame will hold a 5k Fun Run/Walk at the track at 9 a.m., the Jackson County Friends of the Trails Family Trail Bike Ride starts at 9 a.m. at the track and a bags tournament is set for noon at Jackson Motorplex.
The Jeremy DeWall Band will play after racing concludes each night.
